That place where we once . .

   Danced, romanced, and necromanced.

   Played with hearts

      Mumbled off charts

         Drifted fits and starts.

   Tricked ourselves

      (like Christmas elves)

         Putting hearts on shelves.

That place where we once . .

   Asked all the wrong questions.

That precise place . .

   Up-and-closed today.
