For National Poetry Month this year, the St. Johnsbury Athenæum — in collaboration with the Northeast Storytellers — hosts an online open mic. This Zoom event starts at 6pm on Friday, April 16, 2021 and runs over an hour.
The reading slate is pretty full already, with a burgeoning waiting list. To register to view the event, or to add your name to the growing waiting list for readers, please visit the event page at the Athenæum website. Separate registration links should be provided for participants and attendees.
The Athenaeum staff will start admitting people into Zoom fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled start time. During the event, each reader will have 3-4 minutes. Material may be original or created by someone else (with proper attribution).
