"Why Am I Still Writing?"

All good poems have been written
All great songs have been sung
All fine plays have been acted
All church bells have rung.

Why am I still writing?
. If not to make a name
Why am I still hacking?
. If not to win the game
Why am I still trying?
. With no real shot at fame.

The effort is game enough
. To quit would be a shame.
