The author read four poems in the Gallery at the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 — as part of the 2017 PoemTown activities. He first read one of his sentence poems entitled "Did You Know" — then "Had I But", another sentence poem "When She Came Around Again", and "It Goes On".

Northeast Storyteller readings at this event were done in honor of a member who passed away recently — George Mathon (1945-2017) — from whose books poems were read by other members.
