Reading at Catamount Arts: September 6, 2014 @ Noon

Where It's At . .
Poets and other storytellers . .

Our regular first-Saturday-of-the-month reading at Catamount Arts takes place once again this Saturday, September 6th starting at noon.* Usually it's held in the cabaret space downstairs, but sometimes upstairs in the gallery.

September 6th is National Fight Procrastination Day (so let's get it done). Teacher's Day is celebrated in India on September 5 (so let's learn something). The Anglo Saxons called it "barley month" (no explanation needed). As the month of the Roman god Vulcan, god of fire and the forge, September is often associated with fire (don't worry, Catamount has a sprinkler system).

Poetry or stories that touch on any these themes will earn extra donuts or cookies. Or you can just bring whatever you want to read . .

Please invite a friend. We hope to see you there . .

We'll also see some of you tonight at the St. Johnsbury DIG poets get together in the Catamount Arts gallery. Friends and family welcome. Refreshments served . . (Friday, September 5 from 5-7pm).
