Longest Running 'Joke': ObamaCare Delays Again

If you're already in line for ObamaCare you have more time after the March 31 deadline to enroll—prompting Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner to ask "What the hell is this, a joke?"

This latest delay in implementation of the law adds to a long list . .
  1. March 14, 2014: High-risk pools extended and special, temporary coverage for people with serious pre-existing conditions extended a third time.
  2. February 10, 2014: Businesses with 50-100 workers given until 2016, with phasing in for employers with 100+ workers.
  3. January 14, 2014: High-risk pools extended; high-risk insurance pools for second time.
  4. December 24, 2013: Enrollment deadline extended; help finishing January 1 applications if already in line December 24.
  5. December 12, 2013: Enrollment deadline extended; customers on Federal enrollment site given nearly two more weeks to sign up for coverage effective January 1.
  6. November 27, 2013: Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) delayed; online enrollment for the Federal health insurance exchanges for small businesses delayed.
  7. November 21, 2013: Open enrollment delayed for 2015 by a month. 
  8. July 2, 2013: Employer mandate delayed for businesses with 50+ full-time workers; fines pushed back to 2015.
  9. November 15, 2012: Exchange deadline delayed; Department of Health and Human Services gave states extra month to decide on setting up their own health insurance exchanges (announced one day before original deadline).
